the APN selection is back and a few new Models are now supported
still no html support, the first ones that'll get html support are the new Nokia
E75 and the new Nokia E55

you can get the update if you point your E71 browser to http://netac5.vie.hosting.nokia.com/ota
it will replace your current version in my case version 9.04(21) with the new one version 9.04(34)
APN selection
settings > general > service-info > Access Point

It really rocks, i'm amazed at how much easier and faster everything works! thanks Nokia

Unfortunately its not possible to sync every 15 minutes, what would be enough for me. Every hour or more is a little bit much but push/always on kills the battery to fast.
I think I have to stay at Emoze, even if I dont really like it.
Please note the correct download URL is http://email.nokia.com/install/ (netac5 will work for certain people only).
Hi http://email.nokia.com/install/ is for first installations http://netac5.vie.hosting.nokia.com/ota Over-The-Air is for updated prodecude according to Nokia. but you are right netac5 is for European users only.
Thanks for your comment
Ok I have a Nokia Email account set up a while ago but with the beta I uninstalled it due to the lack of wifi access. Now i have installed the new version on my E71. I go through the setup process but it places my gmail and work email into the regular messaging and cannot link back to my Nokia Mail account?
Any Ideas?
...but it places my gmail and work email into the regular messaging...
Log in to your Nokia Mail account on your PC, then click on the 'INSTALL NOW' in the upper right-hand corner, then do an OTA install by entering your phone number. You will receive an SMS, download the software by following the link, and it will only ask you for your password to enable the application.
How do I get this nice layout for the mail, as in the above picture with mail sorted by day?? I only get a long list of emails!
I've generally been confused about the difference between the built-in e71 messaging client, and the client provided via email.nokia.com. They seem EXACTLY the same. Can anyone enlighten me?
Ohhh. It seems that receiving the SMS from Nokia Messaging is CRITICAL to the correct setup of the application. And I was never able to receive those. Oh well...
Hi Markus,
I just noticed that Nokia Messaging doesn't allow setting 'Receipt acknowedgement' and 'Read acknownedgement' during sending email.
Am I right in this?
Best regards,
